Established in 2009 by Steve Casey, Casey Construction is a Commercial Drywall & Floor Prep contractor built on a family tradition of quality interior finishes. Steve still leads the company today, keeping alive over 50 years of industry experience started by his grandfather and uncles.
One lesson taught to Steve early on was that short cuts often lead to long—and costly—delays. That is why scores of commercial clients throughout the Washington D.C. metro area have learned they can count on the skilled tradesmen of Casey Construction to do the job right the first time, while still meeting critical deadlines and budgetary requirements. At Casey, we pride ourselves on being timely and efficient for our clients and their schedules, always making safety a first priority.
Our projects vary from tenant fit-outs and renovations, schools, medical facilities, and beyond. Whether it is a small scale renovation, or over 100,000 SF, Casey can handle everything in between.
We developed this in-house award in 2016 to help motivate our employees to go above-and-beyond on the jobsite. Those who receive the highest level of evaluation by our safety director, Chris Velez, are rewarded and encouraged to continue leading their peers. Dedicating and instilling industry leading practices in jobsite safety has resulted in us being the safety leaders we are today.

In 2016 we were honored to be presented with the Myrtle L. Hitt Award of Excellence and the HITT Safety Award. The Myrtle L. Hitt Award of Excellence is voted on by HITT team members and is given to Subcontractors who have shown exemplary standards that truly represent the HITT way.
The Safety Department awarded Casey Construction with the HITT Subcontractor Safety Award after observing our dedication to safety excellence.
